Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) is a simulated interactive experience which usually involves wearing a VR headset. It can immerse you in a virtual world. When a product isn’t portable, or a place is difficult or impossible to access, VR allows you to take it to your audience. Virtual Reality tours break down barriers to access, and when used by destinations and heritage sites, visitors can experience places that they might not have otherwise. For example Geevor Tin Mine is a visitor attraction in West Cornwall. The heritage site is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. Our VR tour of the underground mine and the mill (available to watch and/or read about below) allows those who can’t visit parts of the site in person, the possibility to experience it in virtual reality, making a more inclusive visit for all.
